Role Summary
We seek a driven Residential Sales Manager with proven expertise in residential BESS or solar sales. You will spearhead our residential market expansion, leveraging digital platforms and lead-generation channels to drive BESS adoption across Australian households.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and convert leads via digital platforms (e.g., SolarQuotes, Energy Matters, social media, PPC campaigns).
- Develop sales strategies targeting homeowners, property developers, and solar retrofit markets.
- Educate customers on BESS benefits, system design, and ROI calculations.
- Collaborate with installers and partners to streamline project execution.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine sales tactics.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for residential BESS units.
Essential Qualifications
- 3+ years in residential BESS sales OR 5+ years in solar sales (mandatory).
- Proven success generating leads from digital channels (e.g., online marketplaces, lead portals, social media).
- Technical understanding of BESS/solar components, installation workflows, and financing options.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing high-value deals.
- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel for client meetings.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with Australian energy regulations (e.g., STCs, VEECs).
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Existing network in the residential solar/BESS sector.

PaPower delivers integrated solar and BESS solutions, with advanced EMS to businesses, helping industrial clients slash energy costs and achieve sustainability goals. Our turnkey systems serve shopping centres, factories, schools, and large-scale commercial facilities.
Role Summary
We need an experienced Commercial Sales Manager to promote PaPower’s solar+BESS solutions to industrial and business clients. You’ll target high-value projects, build enterprise partnerships, and drive large-scale deployments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage industrial clients (e.g., manufacturing plants, schools, retail chains) for solar+BESS projects.
- Structure customised energy solutions, including feasibility studies, financial modelling, and ESG benefits.
- Source leads via industry platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, tender portals, energy brokers, trade associations).
- Lead contract negotiations and manage stakeholder relationships (C-suite, facility managers, sustainability officers).
- Coordinate with engineering teams to design bespoke systems meeting client needs.
- Report on pipeline growth and revenue projections.
Essential Qualifications
- 5+ years in B2B sales of energy solutions (solar, BESS, EMS, EPC or related tech).
- Demonstrated success selling to industrial/commercial clients (e.g., completed >$500k projects).
- Expertise in lead generation via tender platforms (e.g., TenderSearch), industry networks, and direct outreach.
- Knowledge of commercial energy tariffs, PPAs, and government incentives (e.g., CEC accreditation).
- Ability to interpret technical proposals and financial models (ROI, NPV, payback periods).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with grid-connect processes and utility-scale renewable projects.
- Established relationships with property developers, energy consultants, or ESCOs.
- Degree in Engineering, Business, or Sustainability.
