Better Living Group is a leading residential construction and project management business with significant history in the Government, Social Housing and the NFP sectors across Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

The FM, Repairs and Maintenance division is on a continuous growth trajectory and accordingly we would like to hire the services of an additional Project Co-Ordinator / Scheduler on a full time basis to assist in running and manage some of our newly acquired contract clients.

The Role:
You will be responsible for the effective and efficient co-ordination of our Trades people, contractors , their diaries, and job allocation for several key clients. This is not a difficult job, however, it is very " busy ". There is constant communication required.

The business utilises the SIM Pro software system to assist with the automation of many of these functions.

If you have had experience with SIM Pro previously, this would be highly advantageous.

If not, we will provide in house training and ongoing support in order to make this work for you.
Hours may shift in nature. From 6.00am-2.00pm, 8.00am-4.00pm, and 10.00am-6.00pm Monday-Friday, this can all be discussed and negotiated to suit your preference.

Your Main Responsibilities:
To liaise with Clients in relation to making bookings by phone and/or email.
To ensure the appropriate team members are allocated or matched to each type and style of job.

To provide weekly activity reporting and updates to clients and internal stakeholders, most of which are digitally automated, but will still require some intervention on your part.

Skills:
• Proven experience in scheduling or rostering in a trade-based environment.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, and ability to maintain relationships.
• Organised and able to prioritise tasks and manage multiple deadlines.
• Critical thinking, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Outcome and deadline oriented.

Office Location

Office location is Coburg, with a new office location being established in inner city Melb in 2025.
