Public Sector People are working with a government organisation within Brisbane who are seeking an A04 Human resources Officer (Learning & Development) on a unique 6-month contract + extension.

As the HR Advisor, you will provide HR administration support, advice and coordination to support the delivery of workforce services, programs and initiatives within the business, and customer focused outcomes.

What you will be doing:

• Provide administrate support to the training and development team, to enhance business outcomes and support the achievement of program goals.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all administrative documents, using appropriate software programs and adhering to departmental standards, including the use of style guides, templates, and other standards.
• Coordinate the communication process between operational needs, and the training and development team for efficient onboarding of new staff.
• Manage the coordination of staff onboarding, follow-up training and post-training coaching and development needs.

About you:

• A solid human resource generalist with experience in providing advice on workforce management policies and practices, coordinating recruitment, and analysis of workforce data
• Experience in working in a Human resources business partnership approach, including advising, coaching, and facilitating.
• Great interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with an emphasis on stakeholder engagement and experience in preparing and reviewing workforce business cases.
