Our government client based in the Sydney CBD are delivering a sector-wide ERP and shared services transformation and are seeking a Principal Edge & Legacy Systems Integration Specialist.

This program includes the consolidation of ERP systems, IT service management, travel and expense processes, and related edge and legacy technologies. Your work will directly contribute to improved employee experience, streamlined operations, and greater sector mobility.

You will monitor, support, and continuously improve infrastructure and legacy environments, and lead integration efforts aligned with the roll-out of the S/4HANA centralised ERP solution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the identification, analysis, and enhancement of Non-SAP, edge, and legacy systems.
• Design and implement tools and processes for managing system connectivity, infrastructure integration, and Single Sign-On (SSO) capabilities.
• Provide expert technical advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Conduct research into best practice models to improve business outcomes and manage emerging risks.
• Drive planning, release management, data migration, and onboarding activities for Customer Journeys.
• Work collaboratively with transformation leads, ICT, and business units to ensure smooth system integration and service delivery.

Skills

• Deep experience working with legacy and edge systems in a complex organisational environment.
• Proven experience supporting or leading ERP implementations or migrations (preferably SAP S/4HANA).
• Strong infrastructure and integration background, including SSO and multi-system connectivity.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills across technical, policy, and operational teams.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to manage change in evolving environments.
