Premier Outdoor Power Equipment is a fast-growing dealer group with four locations across the Central Coast, Newcastle, and Lake Macquarie. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Customer Service Lead to join our expanding team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring our customers have a seamless and positive experience, from browsing our extensive selection to receiving expert advice and after-sales support.

About Premier Outdoor Power Equipment
Our head office is conveniently located in the Lake Macquarie suburb of Morisset, NSW, just 400 meters from the M1 Pacific Motorway. We specialise in the supply and after-sales service of a wide range of leading-brand outdoor power equipment. As the only John Deere dealers in the Newcastle and Central Coast area, we pride ourselves on providing a premium experience every time a customer walks into our store.

About the Role
As our Customer Service Lead, you’ll wear many hats. Your responsibilities will include:

Setting the standard for exceptional customer service, coaching and developing team members, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.

Managing the group’s marketing plan, including planning for upcoming events and sales.

Collaborating closely with business owners to ensure the group meets targets and growth goals.

Working with key stakeholders to meet their expectations and minimise downtime for their businesses.

Sales management: Guiding customers through the sales process, identifying their needs, and recommending the right products.

Point-of-sale mastery: Proficiently operating our POS system, handling transactions efficiently, and ensuring accuracy.

Continuous improvement: Analysing customer feedback and data to identify opportunities for enhancing customer service and team performance.

Training and development: Training your team on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices.

Product expertise: Knowledge of small engine products and experience with outdoor tools and equipment is a bonus.

Qualifications

5+ years of sales experience: Proven success in a customer-facing role, ideally in retail or the outdoor power equipment industry.

Passion for outdoor power equipment: Genuine enthusiasm for the products we sell and a desire to share your knowledge with customers.

Exceptional customer service skills: Ability to build rapport, actively listen, and address customer concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Outgoing personality and strong communication skills: Enjoy interacting with people, clearly explaining technical concepts, and confidently engaging customers.

Proficiency in POS systems: Experience operating point-of-sale software and handling transactions is essential.

Fast learner: Keen to adapt to new technologies, learn about our products, and continuously improve your skills.
