Job Summary:

The Tenancy Coordinator in Jabiru is responsible for leading all tenancy management services for West Arnhem Regional Council, overseeing residential and visitor accommodation across multiple communities, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, Council policies, and the Jabiru Masterplan Development Management Framework.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate all aspects of residential tenancy management, including allocations, rental agreements, and inspections, in accordance with relevant legislation and Council policies.

Oversee property maintenance and repairs by liaising with internal teams and external contractors, ensuring compliance with Council policies and legislation.

Educate tenants about their rights and responsibilities and negotiate to resolve tenancy issues.

Manage visitor accommodation and maintain accurate records and property management systems to ensure compliance and operational efficiency

About you:

Ability to demonstrate 3+ years of relevant property management experience.

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to prepare accurate tenancy documentation and reports and successfully document complex processes.

Proven ability to follow set processes and an ability to understand and apply the Residential Tenancies Act (RTA)
