Roper Gulf Regional Council is currently seeking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Projects Coordinator to join our team based in Katherine, NT.
The Senior Projects Coordinator will assist in managing, monitoring, and reporting on the delivery of infrastructure projects by applying best practice project management principles. This includes providing contract management support for the Council's Capital Works Program and other infrastructure projects. The role will involve collaborating with the Council's business units, risk practitioners, and various stakeholder groups across the region to develop and support the successful implementation of the Council's community priority projects.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Diploma in Engineering, Projects Management or related discipline, with considerable experience in project and construction management, or knowledge and skills acquired through the completion of a degree;
Knowledge and experience in construction principles and practices and building services;
Demonstrated experience in the interpretation of legislative regulations and procedural guidelines;
Sound fundamental knowledge of financial management, reporting and data management;
Experience in technical services environment in a Local Government industry setting (Desirable)
Salary & Benefits
Base Salary: $86,864 – $107,655 per annum (depending on experience)
Leave Entitlements: 6 weeks annual leave + 10 days personal/sick leave
