Rhinos Diesel Services is seeking an experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at a remote mine site near Jabiru, NT (just 2.5 hours from Darwin).
This is a long-term opportunity with immediate start available for the right candidate.

🔧 About the Role:

You’ll be the sole Light Vehicle Mechanic on shift, working within the dedicated LV section of the workshop. This is a hands-on role where you’ll run your own show under the direction of planners and supervision from the HV workshop.

Your responsibilities will include:

Service and repair of light vehicles, forklifts, small trucks, and site vehicles

Diagnosing faults and managing repairs independently

Communicating with planners and ordering parts in advance

Managing job cards and maintaining clean, accurate paperwork

What We’re Looking For:

Trade-qualified LV Mechanic
5+ years’ experience (mining preferred)
Strong diagnostics, fault-finding, and repair ability
Excellent organisational skills and initiative
White Card, Working at Heights, and HRWL tickets preferred
Able to communicate effectively with planners and supervisors
