You have a desire to learn new skills in an emerging industry? Then this is not a traditional Mechanic Genset and Equipment role.

It requires a professional who is looking to be challenged. A trade background, in one or more of the following areas of: Plant Mechanic/ Fitter, Genset Mechanic, Truck Mechanic, Auto Electrical; or Highly Experience Diesel Motor Mechanic. This is a role with a difference for a productive worker who takes pride in their work and likes to be challenged in:

Maintenance and continual improvement while supporting existing products

Design and trouble shooting

Welding and fabrication

Research and development in Low Impact ELV DC Diesel Gensets and Hydraulic systems where necessary Solar-Powered Stand Alone Lighting Systems

At times there will be challenges of short turn arounds, tight production runs with priorities changing throughout the course of the work week.

Where necessary elements of field service may be required, the role is ideally suited for a trade background, with skills that will be further developed with on-the-job training in the area extra low voltage ELV electrical and lighting systems, low impact energy diesel DC gensets, basic engineering, some aspects of solar-powered stand-alone lighting (ELV) systems.

You must have a strong desire to learn, a positive attitude, workshop experience, adequate tool skills, and a strong team spirit.

We are presently a small team servicing NSW and QLD with limited facilities, adequate but not yet world class tooling. Despite those current limitations we achieve industry leading world class results through smart design, strong engineering and sound manufacture. This enables us to hire our high performance solar-powered lighting apparatus to major infrastructure and mining projects.
