Geebung Truck and Car Centre located in Geebung on the Northside of Brisbane. We provide an honest and efficient service to all clients – including fleet maintenance, heavy truck repairs, prime movers and trailer servicing, medium and heavy rigid truck repairs, light trucks, buses, mobile plant, forklifts, tailgate lifters, and all mechanical equipment, utilities, vans.

We are growing the business to meet increasing customer demand and require experienced Heavy Diesel mechanics and/or those with automotive mechanic experience looking to upskill to Diesel.

ABOUT THE JOB

We have permanent Full time roles working day shift Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday work required. Hours can be flexible starting between 6am and 9am and finishing between 2pm and 5pm. We will consider flexible working arrangements for the right applicants eg. working your hours over an 8-day or 9-day fortnight. Overtime is also available.

The role includes servicing a diverse range of trucks, trailers and engines. Service work will include diagnostics, servicing and minor/major repairs. Bus experience and a heavy vehicle licence will definitely be an advantage – support to gain these can be provided for the right applicants.

ABOUT YOU

• Experience in maintaining, servicing and repairing trucks, trailers and heavy vehicles.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, meet deadlines and work safely at all times.
• Take pride in your work and have patience with team mates and can train others.
• Diagnostic skills and a knowledge of pneumatic systems with a knowledge of hydraulics desirable

ABOUT THE PAY

We are paying $80,000-110,000 for the right candidate who has Heavy Diesel qualifications and experience. The rate is negotiable for successful applicants that have less experience or are wishing to upskill.

Our skilled/qualified employees comfortably earn 6 figures whilst being home to their families every night.

Moving From Victoria ?

We are also offering the right candidate a free move if relocating from Melbourne up to Brisbane. This is possible via a business partner.
