I am representing a reputable brand that has quietly but firmly built one of the strongest market positions in Australia across process automation, measurement, and industrial instrumentation. With significant investments made over the last few years, they’ve grown into a serious force, now holding a strong portfolio of key accounts across multiple sectors.
This company delivers highly specialised process measurement and control systems including flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, level measurement solutions etc. These products are trusted across a wide range of industries such as Mining & Resources, Water & Wastewater, Oil & Gas, Chemical & Petrochemical, Power Generation, Food & Beverage Processing and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.
The BDM Role – Your Day-to-Day:
Map VIC. Identify growth sectors, target accounts, and white space opportunities.
Identify upcoming projects before they go out to tender.
Engage directly with consulting engineers, project managers, and plant operations early in their project planning stages.
Cold call, network, and visit sites regularly to keep your pipeline fresh.
Deepen relationships at all levels: engineering, maintenance, procurement, operations and senior leadership.
Cross-sell full product suite and identify opportunities for add-on business.
Conduct plant walk-throughs, site audits, and technical discovery meetings.
Present tailored solutions that solve real operational problems, not just “meet specs.”
Collaborate with internal engineering and product specialists to build full commercial proposals.
