Your new role
As the Project Officer, Governance, you will be instrumental in supporting the strategic and operational functions of the Trust Board and broader governance team. This is a multifaceted role that combines project coordination, stakeholder engagement, and secretariat responsibilities to ensure the smooth delivery of governance-related initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Project Coordination: Lead and support the delivery of governance-related projects, ensuring alignment with agency priorities and timelines. This includes developing project plans, tracking progress, and preparing reports.
- Board and Committee Support: Provide high-level secretariat support to the Trust Board and its subcommittees, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and papers, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
- Governance Operations: Assist in the coordination of planning cycles, compliance reporting, and the development of governance frameworks, policies, and procedures.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively across the agency to facilitate working groups, consultations, and cross-functional initiatives. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support governance outcomes.
- Research and Analysis: Conduct research and prepare briefing materials, discussion papers, and analytical reports to support informed decision-making.
- Flexible Support: Contribute to broader agency initiatives as needed, including internal reporting, policy development, and support during peak periods or emerging priorities.

What you'll get in return

- Pay Rate: $500-$550 per day + Super
- Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week
- Location: Mascot (3 days in-office, 2 days WFH)
