The Role
They are seeking a highly motivated and technically astute Business Development Manager with a proven ability to drive significant market share growth.
This pivotal role focuses on proactively identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities within the building and construction sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, a deep understanding of the industry's technical requirements and decision-making processes, and a demonstrable track record of exceeding sales targets through strategic lead generation and engagement.
Your primary objectives will include researching new markets, projects, and high-value clients across the state. You'll articulate our product's advantages to engineers, project managers, and specifiers. You'll proactively find and assess new business leads, building, forecasting, and moving prospects through the sales cycle. You'll deliver compelling technical presentations and demonstrations that highlight key benefits, consistently meeting and exceeding new business sales goals.
Experience Needed
To thrive in this role, you'll need proven experience selling technical solutions into Engineers, Project Managers, and Specifiers.
We're looking for a proactive, persistent, and results-driven approach to sales. Exceptional communication and presentation skills are essential to effectively engage and influence key stakeholders.
You'll also need strong business acumen with the ability to develop strategic sales approaches, along with a passion for sales, design, and innovative commercial solutions. Finally, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment is key.
Salary and Benefits
Base - $90,000 to $115,000
