The Liverpool Catholic Club is located on 43 acres and is a community-based business with a strong focus on assisting those in our local community. Our diverse offering includes function facilities for up to 2,000 pax, a 192 room Mercure Hotel, a Sports Complex including a Gym and Ice Rink, sporting fields and facilities along with the typical club offerings including extensive catering outlets.

The Liverpool Catholic Club is seeking a full time Function & Events Chef for our busy Function & Events Centre (LCC Venues). The ideal applicant will have experience in a similar role and possess strong leadership skills along with having a passion for the hospitality industry. This is a hands-on role and involves managing a small team, ordering and writing menus with creativity in mind.

Our function facilities include our Grand Ballroom which can cater for up to 1,000, ten rooms within our Mercure Hotel tower ranging from Boardroom style to 100 people. In addition, we have recently completed an extension which includes function space for 230 and a Theatre that accommodates 270 people.

  • Multitask and plan for multiple events
  • Ensure strict food safety standards are adhered to
  • Ensure presentation of all meals is consistent and in line with LCC Venues standards and policies
  • Stock management and waste control

The LCC Events Complex (the Complex) is set on 46 acres of land adjacent to the Liverpool Catholic Club. The Complex is situated on the ground floor and has two separate grand entrances and foyers. The Complex has onsite parking reserved for over 500 cars with additional general parking for over 300 cars.

The LCC team has successfully fulfilled individuals' private function needs for over 10 years. In November 2001, a major expansion of facilities was completed including the building of four major new function rooms, two new foyers and surrounding areas. The expansion has resulted in the creation of Western Sydney's premier function venue.

The Complex features technologically advanced facilities including new sound and lighting systems that are suitable for the most extravagant function and are certain to astonish both you and your guests.

The Complex has full catering and bar facilities and can cater for a formal banquet through to a small cocktail function. Our team of talented chefs can create an innovative menu choice to suit individual requirements and budgets.
