Hotel Ravesis is revitalising its food identity, bringing an exciting new Spanish/Iberian culinary experience to the dining room on the upper floor of our iconic beachside hotel in Bondi Beach. With a focus on bold flavours, fresh seafood, and creative street food-inspired snacks, we are looking for a Head Chef to lead this exciting new culinary direction.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef with a deep understanding of Spanish/Iberian cuisine to take the reins and develop a menu that perfectly complements the vibrant beach precinct and lively atmosphere of our bars. This is a rare opportunity to shape a brand-new dining concept from the ground up.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute an innovative Spanish/Iberian menu with a strong seafood focus and street-food/snack elements
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and excellence in food quality
  • Manage kitchen budgets, food costs, and supplier relationships to ensure profitability
  • Lead, train, and develop a dynamic kitchen team
  • Create and manage staff rosters to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain impeccable kitchen organisation and hygiene standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • A deep passion for and expertise in Spanish/Iberian cuisine
  • Strong culinary leadership experience, with a track record of menu development and kitchen management
  • Knowledge of cost control, rostering, and operational efficiency
  • A balance of creativity and classical grounding in Spanish and Iberian cooking
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a high-energy environment
