About the Role
As a Senior Computer Technician at Less Stress IT, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of IT services, both in-store and onsite. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain computer systems, as well as provide networking solutions and troubleshooting support for our B2B clients. You will also assist in quoting and implementing IT solutions tailored to meet our clients' needs and provide support and guidance to less experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform in-store and onsite computer repairs, including hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Provide B2B-focused IT support, ensuring swift and efficient problem resolution.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer networks, ensuring seamless connectivity and security.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to networking, hardware, and software.
- Conduct thorough troubleshooting to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Prepare and deliver accurate solutions quotes for clients, offering tailored IT solutions.
- Maintain clear and concise communication with clients to ensure their IT needs are met.
- Document all work performed, including repairs, installations, and troubleshooting steps.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure a high standard of service delivery.
- Provide support and guidance to less experienced technicians.
About You
- Significant experience as a Computer Technician, IT Support Specialist, or similar role.
- Experience with B2B IT support and solid understanding of business IT needs.
- Broad range of expertise and knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking systems to be able to resolve various customer requirements.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft 365 products.
- Knowledge of cyber security best practices.
- Ability to independently and efficiently problem-solve, diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Ability to document clear and accurate processes with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing IT environments.
- Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation for onsite visits.
- Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) a plus.
