About the role

We are seeking an experienced Onsite Computer Technician to join our talented IT support team at Concept IT in Maleny, Queensland. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance to our valued clients throughout the local area. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our customers' technology runs smoothly and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for client computers and devices

Installing, configuring and troubleshooting a range of computer systems and peripherals

Performing software updates, patches and data backups to maintain system integrity

Providing technical guidance and hands-on assistance to clients both in-person and remotely

Documenting all support activities and maintaining detailed records

Escalating complex issues to senior team members as required

Ensuring a professional, courteous and customer-focused approach at all times

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years' experience as an Onsite Computer Technician or in a similar IT support role

Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking and basic IT security principles

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically

Effective communication skills to liaise with clients and explain technical concepts in plain language

Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and a genuine passion for technology

Flexibility to work on-site at client locations as required

A relevant technical certification or diploma would be highly regarded
