PRIVATE WEALTH NETWORK
Posted 4 days ago
About the Company: Private Wealth Network (PWN) is a trusted membership community for individuals, families, and family offices of significant wealth across Australia and New Zealand. We help our members make their wealth meaningful—through stronger family relationships, impactful investing, and purposeful philanthropy.
Our members connect through peer groups, curated events, international tours, and our flagship Family Office Congress. Everything we do is guided by our Four Walls Policy, ensuring a confidential and trusted space for real conversations.
We are currently growing our Marketing, Events and Communications team and looking for a creative and independent Communication Specialist to join us in shaping the stories we tell and ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints.
About the Role: As Communication Specialist, you will play a central role in how PWN communicates—across channels, audiences, and events. You’ll be the go-to person and internal expert on PWN’s tone of voice and brand house style, ensuring consistency and clarity in everything we publish.
This role is perfect for a natural storyteller with strong writing and content production skills who is also excited about brand alignment and positioning. From crafting engaging newsletters and managing our podcast, to supporting event promotions and chapter communications, you'll help drive engagement and build strong connections with our audiences.
You’ll also work closely with both internal teams and external partners to make sure that everything from a social media post to an event invitation reflects the premium, purposeful voice of PWN.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Brand Stewardship
Develop and write compelling content for PWN’s monthly newsletter, website, membership materials, social media, and more.
Act as the internal knowledge expert on PWN’s tone of voice and house style, guiding other team members and stakeholders to ensure consistent application.
Ensure all communications—regardless of channel or format—reflect the values and positioning of the PWN brand.
Podcast Production
Lead the planning and production of PWN’s regular podcast, including:
Developing an annual content calendar with themes and guest speakers.
Coordinating interviews, managing logistics, and overseeing production through to publishing.
Event Communications & Promotion
Create and adapt communications to promote PWN’s flagship conferences, member events and initiatives.
Develop event positioning, invitations, registration comms, and post-event content tailored for channels including email (EDMs), web, and social.
Support chapter event communications, ensuring that positioning, tone and visual branding are consistent with the PWN style.
Stakeholder Engagement
Collaborate with internal teams, members, and partners to source quotes, insights and stories for use in communications.
Support the event team with speaker communications and occasionally assist with speaker coordination and briefing.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
A confident writer and communicator with an eye for tone, clarity, and audience engagement.
Experienced in managing content projects from idea through to delivery.
Self-motivated, creative, and able to work independently while collaborating closely with others.
Organised and adaptable, able to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
A team player who enjoys connecting with people and working across a variety of functions.
Experience & Skills
3+ years’ experience in communications, content production, marketing or journalism.
Exceptional written English and strong editorial judgement.
Experience producing podcasts or audio content is desirable.
Understanding of digital channels and social media content best practices.
Some experience supporting events or coordinating speakers is a plus.
A degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field is preferred.
