About the role
This is a full-time role within the Nutbrook Engineering Group Pty Limited in Sydney, NSW. As the Office Communications and Administrator, you will be responsible for managing the company's internal and external communications, as well as providing administrative support to the wider team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing engineering services firm.
What you'll be doing
Communications Support
Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
Manage digital channels such as the company website and LinkedIn, ensuring content is current and aligned with brand messaging, while also creating, editing, and publishing engaging content across online platforms.
Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, such as capability statements, and case studies,
Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, prepare and format reports, proposals, and presentations, ensuring high quality and consistency.
Contribute to the development of the company's brand and visual identity
Support marketing initiatives including event planning, branding, and promotional material creation.
Software and IT Coordination
Liaise with the external IT provider to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and support requests.
Promote effective use of company software by providing user support and encouraging best practices.
Conduct regular audits of software licenses and usage, ensuring compliance and cost-efficiency.
Support the onboarding process by setting up system access and providing basic IT orientation for new employees.
General Administration
Be the friendly voice on the phone and first point of contact for general enquiries.
Keep our suite of templates up to date, consistent and looking sharp.
Support the preparation and submission of fee proposals and contract documentation.
As a member of the Administration team, provide day-to-day support to the Nutbrook Group team and offices, including coordinating travel, ordering office supplies, and taking care of whatever else keeps things running smoothly.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a similar communications or administrative role, preferably within the engineering or construction industry
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences
Proficient in using a range of digital tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and Microsoft Office suite (experience with Salesforce, WordPress and Canva is desirable, but not essential).
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
A proactive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach.
