An interesting and exciting opportunity has arisen within a privately-owned organisation with large and specialised facilities across multiple sites in Canberra. The Property Manager vacancy will ensure the presentation, maintenance and compliance with relevant Australian Standards are applied to all assets within the company. The Project Manager-Civil Infrastructure will ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget and will include understanding the commercial feasibility/value return on the project.

Your new role

• The development of new precinct infrastructure including quality, value and management;
  
• Oversee design & construction process and progress against schedule and budget;
  
• Review all designs and approve design before tender and construction.
  
• Obtain authority approvals for projects
  
• Attend Design & Construction Meetings with the relevant project manager to oversee inground infrastructure integrity, growth and integration of new/existing assets
  
• Ad hoc Inspect installations of new infrastructure as required, coordinate findings of inspections with Property, Plumbing Team and Project Manager, in regard to asset integrity, quality and standards
  
• Liaise with Property, Plumbers and Property Managers to ensure new infrastructure is fully considered regarding integrations of existing systems, ensuring standards to infrastructure are maintained
  
• Provide input in new designs on all assets and infrastructure regarding integrity, maintenance, quality and general standards
  
• Liaise with Project Managers, Property and Commercial & Legal to ensure new assets are logged and all licences are in place
  
• For irrigation systems and pumps, new design during construction and consultation with Property and Grounds

• White Card & Asbestos Awareness
• Silica Awareness
• Demonstrated exposure to commercial project delivery
• Tertiary education in a construction-related discipline
• High level of personal drive
• Team Player with alignment to delivery of service
• High level of financial acumen
• Ability to scope works and deliver on time and within budget
