Krinklewood Estate — a certified biodynamic vineyard nestled in the heart of the Hunter Valley — is launching Cézan, a new food and wine destination in partnership with the acclaimed team at Fennel & Co. Together, we are creating an immersive hospitality experience that stretches across:
Cézan Trattoria & Bar (our flagship vineyard restaurant),
Weddings & Events (full-service catering across the estate), and
In-Room & Private Dining (for future accommodation offerings).
We’re seeking a Restaurant Supervisor & Functions Coordinator to become a foundational part of this journey. This is a rare opportunity to lead front-of-house service at Cézan while helping to shape and manage the full F&B experience across the Krinklewood Estate — including our fast-growing calendar of weddings, private events, and curated guest experiences.
The Role
You’ll be both the warm face and operational heartbeat of Cézan — welcoming guests, pouring drinks, and ensuring service flows with ease and grace. In addition, you'll play a key role in coordinating and delivering all food & beverage offerings across the estate, including working closely with couples planning weddings, overseeing set menus, and supporting the operational delivery of unforgettable events - Including weddings.
This is a hands-on, people-focused role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, loves connecting with guests, and wants to help shape one of the Hunter’s most exciting new culinary ventures.
Key Responsibilities
Host at Cézan Trattoria & Bar
Greet and engage guests with warmth and professionalism
Make and pour drinks; support food service and runners
Ensure a seamless and memorable guest experience
Weddings & Private Events
Conduct on-site wedding tours and follow up with prospective couples
Coordinate and manage event bookings and logistics
Manage set menus and event-specific food and beverage requirements
Be on-site to execute flawless weddings & events.
Venue & Estate Operations
Oversee front-of-house operations at Cézan
Ensure smooth service during restaurant hours and events
Be available for key weddings, seasonal gatherings, and major events
Help integrate future in-room/private dining offerings as they evolve
About You
Proven experience in hospitality, events, or F&B coordination
A natural host — warm, confident, and customer-focused
Passionate about food, wine, and delivering exceptional service
Highly organised with great attention to detail and follow-through
Flexible, hands-on, and calm under pressure
Comfortable managing bookings, menus, and client communications
