About the role

IHR Australia is seeking a part-time (four days) Finance Administrator to join our highly collegiate professional team in our Melbourne office. In this role, you will be responsible for providing administrative and financial support to our accounting function, ensuring accurate and efficient financial record-keeping.

What you'll be doing

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Handling complex invoicing matters

Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements

Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements

Maintain and update financial records and databases

Provide finance related support to the iHR Australia team as needed

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve financial queries

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting administrative role

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately with numbers

Proficient in using accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work well in a team and independently

Tertiary qualification in Accounting or a related field would be an advantage

Willingness to take accountability for your decisions and work standards
