We currently require an experienced and qualified Chef to join our team full-time at our Asian Feast Mixed Cuisine Restaurant in Loxton, South Australia.

Salary: $70,000-$80000(+Superannuation)

In this role, you will plan, organize, and manage all aspects of food preparation and cooking within our establishment. If you have a passion for culinary excellence and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes.

• Upload and enforce food safety and hygiene standards.

• Potentially oversee staff training and development.

• May manage food preservation and storage processes.

• Communicate promptly with Chef Manager on kitchen operations, safety plans, and menu concerns.

• Deliver food services based on customer choices.

• Supervise the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure high standards at every stage.

• Check the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met.

• Check the quantity and quality of received products.

• Check food is stored and handled as per food health and hygiene regulations.

• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures.

• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.

• Prior experience as a chef minimum one year.

• Education in Commercial Cookery.

• Flexible to work on a rotating roster.
