DABSCO, Darwin’s premier manufacturer and supplier of home improvement products, is seeking a professional and motivated Sales Representative (Industrial Products) to join our dynamic team. With over 59 years of service to the Northern Territory community, we specialise in the supply and installation of high-quality security screens, windows and doors, external awnings, window coverings, and shower screens.

This is a full-time, permanent role for a candidate who can demonstrate strong skills in industrial product sales, client engagement, and end-to-end sales cycle management. The successful candidate will be expected to promote and sell DABSCO's range of home improvement and industrial products to both residential and commercial customers.

Key Duties:

Identify and engage potential residential and commercial clients through research, referrals, and industry leads

Maintain strong product knowledge of DABSCO’s offerings as well as competitor products

Conduct site visits and customer consultations to understand project needs and recommend suitable solutions

Prepare and present quotes, negotiate terms, and finalise sales agreements

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of products

Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers through excellent post-sale service

Monitor market trends, gather client feedback, and report to sales management for strategic planning

Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and expense reports

Requirements:

Hold a relevant qualification equivalent to an Australian Bachelor’s degree or higher, plus at least one year of full-time (or equivalent part-time) relevant work experience

Alternatively, at least five year of relevant experience may substitute for formal qualifications.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Competence in Microsoft Office and CRM systems

Valid NT Driver’s Licence

Self-motivated, with a strong customer service focus
