Locally, we service a broad range of customers in different industries in different locations, including the hospitality, tourism, mining, government departments and agencies in Darwin and along the Northern Territory borders.
We require a full-time Sales Representative, on the road, to join our growing team.

About the role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, this role focuses on growing sales from new and existing customer bases and the development of long-term relationships, promoting our products and service solutions.
Key Responsibilities/Duties:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
Identify and contact new potential customers, creating opportunities
Meet targets and KPIs by understanding customer needs and delivering solutions from AUFS’s total product range
Notify customers of monthly promotions, price trends and supply issues
Monitor customer buying patterns and implement pricing strategies
Support customers in using online ordering systems
Promote and enrol customers to loyalty and promotional programs offered by Countrywide, suppliers and AUFS
Invite and accompany customers to AUFS Supplier Cookups, product demonstrations and presentations
Co-operate and work with the AUFS Sales team
Assist with order processing and phones when office based
Required Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications
Have excellent communication, interpersonal, presentation, organizational and time management skills, including diary management
Have superior selling, negotiating and problem-solving abilities
Have the ability to attend customer and supplier events outside normal office hours as required
Be self-motivated and able to work independently
Be a people’s person and thrive on developing and maintaining relationships
Sales experience within a similar industry is desired, but not essential
Have a full Drivers Licence
