About the role

As the Head Chef at Holy Ship', you will be responsible for leading and managing the culinary operations on our refurbished trawlers. This full-time, on-site role is based in Main Beach, Queensland, and will see you overseeing the creation and execution of exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

What you'll be doing

Developing and implementing creative, high-quality menus that showcase fresh, local ingredients

Managing and training to deliver consistently outstanding culinary standards

Ensuring strict compliance with all health, safety and food hygiene regulations

Ordering and managing stock and supplies to maintain inventory levels

Liaising with the hospitality suppliers to maintain the freshness of products

Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance the guest dining experience

Deliver budgeted food costs,time management &effective use of resources

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced hospitality environment

Strong culinary expertise and a passion for creating innovative, flavourful cuisine

Excellent people management and leadership skills to inspire and develop your team

Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to upholding the highest food safety and hygiene standards

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays

Relevant tertiary qualifications in Culinary Arts or Hospitality Management
