Working with local producers of some of the best Beef, pork, lamb & fruit and vegetables both the pub menu and restaurant menu highlight the best the central tablelands and blue mountains have to offer.

The Rockley Pub menu showcases simple and approachable ingredients and is the place to come for a perfectly cooked steak or our patrons favourite pub classics done well. It caters to a steady stream of numbers, with seating both indoors and outdoors.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Head Chef, who is excited about great produce to executed an elevated food offering to The Rockley.

The Role:

As Head Chef, you will be an avid creator with a passion for working with seasonal produce. You appreciate the importance of pubs at the heart of a community and are eager to create an elevated menu that will create lasting memories for our patrons for years to come.

Your day to day will involve the overall running of the daily kitchen operation, including menu development, ordering, stocktake, training and developing the team, working with local farmers and suppliers, collaborating with the GM on marketing and activations and more!

The Rockley kitchen is well equipped for your creativity to soar and also offers an open coal barbecue and electric offset smoker outdoors, ready to be fired up for engaging outdoor events and activations to bring the community together.

Having worked in some of Australia’s best restaurants or pubs as Head Chef, your food philosophy will be seasonally led, with a focus on using the best local produce available whilst keeping to the heart of the narrative. Your finesse and creative flare will bring a sense of elevation to the offering, whilst sticking to the venue’s roots and charm.
