My client is a well-respected Australian-owned supplier of specialist equipment used in laboratories, cleanrooms, and controlled environments.
They provide premium solutions to pharmaceutical, biotech, research, and industrial organisations—from biological safety cabinets and airflow systems to decontamination tech, environmental monitoring, and containment isolators.
Backed by exclusive agency agreements, they’re known for their expertise, hands-on support, and practical, science-based approach to solving real-world contamination and compliance issues.

THE ROLE
This is a business development role with a healthy mix of account management, covering Queensland.
Your job is to build long-term relationships with lab managers, engineers, facility managers, and procurement teams—understanding their needs, recommending fit-for-purpose solutions, and managing the sales process from quote through to handover.
A typical week might include:
Visiting a biotech lab to discuss a new airflow containment project
Working with a hospital to spec out decontamination equipment
Following up a quote for a safety cabinet install
Checking in with a research facility about upcoming expansion plans
Collaborating with the internal team to track timelines and service needs
You’ll be backed by experienced technical support, but your role is to be the front face—solving problems, building trust, and driving revenue.
WHAT THEY SELL
You’ll represent a specialist range of high-quality lab and cleanroom solutions, including:
Biological safety cabinets & laminar flow workstations
Isolators and containment equipment
Room decontamination and disinfection systems
Environmental monitoring technology
Validation and airflow testing services
These products are used across pharma, medical research, industrial manufacturing, plastics, cleanrooms, and food processing.
ABOUT YOU
You’re comfortable in a consultative sales role, where listening, problem-solving, and knowing your products count more than pushy tactics.
Ideally, you’ll have:
B2B sales experience—scientific, medical, lab, or technical equipment preferred
A genuine interest in technical products and the ability to learn quickly
Confidence working with labs, facilities teams, or production environments
Strong follow-up, project tracking, and CRM skills
A proactive approach to territory management and new business development
You don’t need a PhD—but being able to hold a solid, informed conversation with a lab manager is essential.
SALARY & BENEFITS
BASE $80,000 - $110,000 | Super 11.5% | Car OR Car Allowance | Commissions
