About the Role
As Clinical Operations Manager, you’ll provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical oversight to a team of passionate hand therapists and support staff. This is a dynamic role combining clinical work with operational and strategic input to ensure our services continue to meet the highest standards of care and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists
Oversee clinical governance, service quality, and best-practice standards
Oversee clinical operations to streamline and optimise daily operations, enhancing efficiency, productivity and a high level of patient care.
Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the business
Manage performance reviews, training, and professional development
Collaborate with referral partners and represent the clinic in the community
Maintain a small clinical caseload to stay connected with client care
About You:
Qualified Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist with AHPRA registration (extensive experience in hand therapy is desirable)
Proven experience in management, preferably in the healthcare or allied health sector.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinker with the ability to drive initiatives that contribute to business growth.
Familiarity with healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements.
A passion for people development, innovation, and high-quality care
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
Full AHTA Accredited Hand Therapist (AHT) status highly desirable.
Post graduate study in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field is highly regarded.
Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting and financial analysis desirable.
