Project Manager - Roads

The Opportunity
This is a key leadership role overseeing road construction and civil works, with a strong pipeline of TMR and Council contracts across regional locations. As Project Manager, you'll take ownership from handover to completion-managing programs, safety, budgets, subcontractors, and teams on-site. You'll play a crucial part in ensuring project efficiency, safety compliance, and strong commercial outcomes.

About You
You're a confident and capable Project Manager who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. You understand TMR specifications and have experience managing road projects from start to finish. Your leadership style is hands-on, safety-focused, and outcomes-driven.
You will bring:

• Minimum 6 years' experience managing TMR road projects (essential)
• Experience in civil construction project delivery
• Ability to interpret construction plans, manage teams and subcontractors
• Proven track record delivering safe, profitable, and high-quality outcomes
• Strong communication and decision-making skills
• Construction Induction (White Card)
• Certificate IV in Civil Construction or equivalent experience
• Based in Cairns or willing to relocate
