About you and this position
Using your passion for community development this role immerses itself in the Campbelltown Community. You will have a knack for bringing partners together, thinking creatively and turning ideas into action to ensure that Campbelltown is a community that supports children and young people to play, grow and develop well.
As a successful candidate, you will have:
Essential
- Bachelor of Social Science or equivalent is essential
- Working with children check or willing to obtain is essential
- Drivers Licence
Desirable
- Experience working in a community development role
- Knowledge of local government
This position is available on a 30 hours per week part-time basis until 31 July 2027 and is classified as a Grade 4 under the Campbelltown Municipal Officers Staff Enterprise Agreement No 11, 2024 and the relevant Award.
The preferred candidate will need to undertake a pre-employment medical and submit a police clearance (funded by Council).
