A leading global supplier of premium commercial furniture, lighting, and textiles servicing the Architecture and Design industry is seeking an Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will work collaboratively with supporting staff based in India and an external accounting firm in South Korea, handling a diverse range of finance functions including daily accounting operations, accounts processing, financial reporting, and compliance activities. Key Responsibilities

Support the Financial Controller to ensure financial statements are accurate

Work closely with sales team on sales forecast

Manage accounts receivable including following up overdue amounts

Work collectively with supporting staff based in India on monthly balance sheet reconciliations

Co-ordinate with external accounting firm on month end close process for a group company incorporated in South Korea

Preparation of monthly / quarterly BAS

Work with external auditor and tax agent for audit and tax filing for two 2 Australian companies

Prepare cash flow forecasts

Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis as and when needed

Handle enquires from US and UK group companies

Work with other business functions to support continuous process improvement

Skills & Experience

University degree in accounting, finance or other related fields

Completed or studying towards a CA or CPA qualification

At least 3 years relevant experience, preferably with companies with headquarter in the US

Independent self-starter with a strong attention to detail and able to meet tight deadlines

Have experience to work collaboratively with colleagues in overseas countries

Strong Excel skills

Team player who has a can-do attitude

Experience in working for Korean companies will be a plus
