The opportunity

Dentique Dental Spa is seeking a full-time Dental Assistant/ Receptionist and a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team in Mount Lawley, Western Australia. As a Dental Assistant/Receptionist, you will play a vital role in supporting the dentists and providing exceptional patient care. Our part-time Dental Hygienist position offers the opportunity to work alongside our skilled dentists, focusing on preventative dental care and education.

Key responsibilities

Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

Sterilise and prepare instruments and equipment for procedures

Provide excellent patient care, guiding patients through their dental visits and addressing any concerns

Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment plans

Perform routine dental hygiene tasks, such as scaling, polishing, and applying fluoride treatments

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of preventive care

Support the dental team in administrative duties as needed

What we're looking for

A Dental Assistant qualification or equivalent, with at least 1 years' experience in a similar role and with basic Dental Receptionist skills.

A Dental Receptionist willing to learn basic Dental Assisting will also be considered.

Dental Hygienist qualifications and a minimum of 1 year's experience in a clinical setting

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional patient care

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively

A team-oriented approach and a willingness to contribute to the overall success of the practice

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for the dental industry
