We are Tasmania's leading 3PL Warehousing and Logistics company and we are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our successful family-owned business as our Warehouse Team Leader.

The Role

Located at our new facility in Cambridge near Hobart airport, we are looking for someone who loves a great team environment and a passion for providing exceptional service to our customers and stakeholders. We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated and determined individual with experience in warehousing to come on board as our Team Leader to provide direction to our team to ensure that all warehouse activities are completed in accordance with our company procedures.

At Total Freight Solutions, we provide 3PL services for predominantly medical products (non-pharmaceutical) for distribution throughout Tasmania and pride ourselves on a high level of customer service, care in handling of our client's products and keeping our facility clean. This position is a Full-time role leading a small team, Monday to Friday with no weekend work.

As Team Leader your key responsibilities will be:

Lead and support our team on a day-to-day basis

Ensure that Sales Orders are processed according to schedule

Operating Forklift trucks.

Unloading stock from containers, trucks and other vehicles

Verifying pick accuracy of orders picked by other staff.

Processing orders through a Warehouse Management System

Checking off inbound deliveries against Manifests and put away into selective racking.

Ensuring stock and storage areas are clean and tidy at all times

Skills and Experience:

Current Forklift license - Essential

Clean and current motor vehicle license - Essential

Minimum 2 years experience in warehousing or 3PL environment.

Intermediate Level of Computer skills required

Good written and verbal communication skills, including problem management and conflict resolution

Previous Supervisor or Team leader experience is preferred, but not essential
