About the Role
Reporting to the National Assets & Rostering Manager, the Assets & Rostering Team Lead (NSW) is responsible for overseeing the efficient management of fleet operations, procurement, and warehouse logistics across the NSW region. This role plays a key part in ensuring company assets—including vehicles, stock, and purchasing—are maintained and allocated effectively to support field operations. You'll lead a small team and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency while working towards daily, weekly, and monthly targets aligned with broader team goals.

What your day-to-day will look like

Lead and support the NSW Assets team, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive team environment

Manage technician rosters, including leave processing, vehicle allocation, and real-time adjustments

Oversee the coordination and maintenance of the vehicle fleet, including servicing, repairs, and compliance documentation

Manage purchasing functions, including supplier relationships, stock forecasting, and procurement tracking

Oversee warehouse operations—stock levels, order dispatch, inventory tracking, and cleanliness

Monitor and maintain assets such as fuel cards, E-Tags, and mobile devices

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational risks

Ensure all operations meet safety, compliance, and company standards

Track team and operational performance through regular reporting and data analysis

What you'll bring to the role

2 years' experience in a similar role, with a background in logistics, fleet management, purchasing and insurance

Strong leadership skills and experience managing a team

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement

Confidence using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) and various operational systems

Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Valid driver's license
