HVAC Project Manager – Major Commercial Project | Tier I Delivery

The Role
We’re seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager to join the companies growing Sydney team.
This is your chance to lead a $15M+ mechanical package, backed by an experienced engineering and site delivery team, on a landmark project that will elevate your portfolio and open the door to further leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management

• Oversee day-to-day project delivery and act as first point of contact for the client
• Ensure subcontractors and suppliers maintain valid insurances and certifications
• Manage resources to maintain installation schedules and project targets
• Liaise with suppliers and coordinate procurement of project-specific equipment

Document Control

• Maintain full control of contract documentation and project records
• Review project specifications and develop construction schedules
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and timelines

Financial Management

• Monitor budgets, progress claims, payments, and variations
• Maintain commercial oversight and improve project margins
• Ensure all financial deliverables are on time and accurate

Team Leadership

• Lead and support in-house and subcontractor teams across all stages of the project
• Supervise site and fabrication works to ensure alignment with specifications
• Maintain strong communication with clients and key internal departments
• Collaborate with engineering, drafting, estimating, and accounts teams

Training & Development

• Attend training relevant to your duties and identify additional development needs
• Work with management to continually build your skills and leadership capability

About You

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC Project Management
• Proven success delivering $15M+ mechanical packages
• Experience working with Tier I builders
• Strong leadership, communication, and commercial acumen
• A proactive and professional approach to managing complex mechanical projects
