Located at our head office in Abbotsford, we seek an individual who will be pivotal in our financial operations as we expand into Asian markets.

Role Overview

We are seeking a full time Financial Accountant to support our strategic expansion into Asian markets, particularly China.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong accounting foundation, advanced data analysis capabilities, and cross-cultural business acumen. You will work closely with finance, operations, and strategy teams across regions to assess financial feasibility, analyse regional trends, and support client-facing reporting and compliance work.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver accounting support and manage financial transactions relating to business operations.

Prepare the monthly and annual regulatory requirements for submission such as Tax and Statutory Reporting (BAS, FBT).

Assist in the formulation of budgetary and accounting policies.

Prepare financial detailed reports, reconciliations, and business forecasts.

Examine operating costs and income and expenditure to determine the state of financial health.

Ensure all accounting activities and reporting comply with statutory laws and requirements.

Conduct region-specific financial data analysis to support Asia market entry and growth strategies.

Identify regional taxation and policy changes impacting the business, and develop mitigation strategies.

Collaborate with leadership on Asia market research and feasibility analysis.

Support internal knowledge sharing on Asia market frameworks and localised financial practices.

Ideal Candidate Profile

At least one year post-qualification experience in accounting, finance, or audit

Advanced Excel skills, including data modeling, pivot tables, financial analysis, scenario forecasting

Analytical mindset with the ability to handle complex data sets and derive insights

High attention to detail and ability to work independently across time zones

Bi-lingual language skills in English and Mandarin are highly preferred
