This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for a passionate chef with a proven track record in high-volume kitchens and a strong background in elevated pub dining or modern Australian cuisine. You'll lead a talented team in delivering exceptional food with efficiency, consistency, and flair.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across multiple service periods

Lead, inspire, and develop a strong back-of-house team

Drive consistency, quality, and creativity in menu execution

Manage kitchen financials including food cost, labor, and wastage

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and compliance

Collaborate with management to evolve menus and seasonal offerings

What We're Looking For

Proven leadership in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen

Strong experience in gastro pub or elevated casual dining

Excellent communication and team management skills

Sound knowledge of cost control, ordering systems, and compliance

Passion for great food, innovation, and a strong work ethic

Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery (Cert III or above)
