We are currently looking for a skilled and self-driven Human Resources manager to join our dynamic team in a full-time, ongoing position in Perth, Western Australia.
The key duties and responsibilities will include:
Lead and manage all human resources functions across TECC’s national operations, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements
Coordinate, oversee, and lead all aspects of human resources and workplace relations functions within the organisation, including planning, organising, directing, and controlling related activities to support strategic and operational goals
Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and systems to support a productive, compliant, and safety-conscious workplace
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and induction processes to attract and retain skilled personnel across all TECC locations
Provide guidance to management on workforce planning, employee performance, and staff development strategies
Manage employee relations, including resolving workplace issues, handling grievances, and supporting fair and consistent disciplinary action
Coordinate training programs and compliance-related education to support professional development and operational standards
Review and maintain employment contracts, compensation structures, and benefits programs in accordance with industry benchmarks
Monitor adherence to WHS legislation and support initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and safe work environment
Analyse HR metrics to assess workforce trends, support informed decision-making, and drive continuous improvement
Support organisational growth through change management, internal communication strategies, and employee engagement initiatives
The ideal candidate will have:
Over 3 years of relevant experience in human resources management, preferably within trade, cleaning, or service-based industries
A formal qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline (minimum Bachelor degree or above)
Strong leadership and decision-making skills, with the ability to work autonomously and support operational managers
Proven ability to manage HR processes under pressure while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
A proactive, solution-focused approach to employee and organisational needs
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and approachable manner
A strong understanding of Fair Work legislation, awards, and compliance obligations
Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety practices and knowledge of WHS legislation relevant to WA
Experience implementing HR systems and managing employee records with confidentiality and care
Ability to build a positive workplace culture and drive continuous improvement in HR practices
