About the role
Macarthur Paediatric Occupational Therapy is seeking passionate Occupational Therapists to join our growing team in Campbelltown and Raby, NSW. We are looking for Level 1 or Level 2 Occupational Therapists to provide evidence-based, family-centred care to children with a range of developmental and physical needs. This full-time role offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative environment, with a focus on ongoing professional development and a positive work-life balance. What you'll be doing

Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and goals of each child.

Supporting a range of diagnoses including but not limited to ASD, ADHD, motor coordination difficulties and developmental delays.

Developing and implementing individualised treatment plans to address areas such as fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and social/emotional development.

Collaborating closely with families, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.

Providing parent/caregiver education and training to support carry-over of strategies in the home and school environments.

Maintaining detailed clinical documentation and participating in regular team meetings and training.

Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices.

What we're looking for

Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Knowledge of providing therapy to children with a range of developmental, physical, and sensory needs.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with children and their families.

Excellent time management and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively.

Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy.

Ability to work independently and a commitment to ongoing education and learning.

Current drivers’ license and willingness to use own car for community appointments.

Relevant background checks eg. NDIS worker screening, WWCC (or ability to get).

Current professional insurance and indemnity cover (or ability to get).
