Position Overview:
As a Senior Paediatric Occupational Therapist at Elara Allied Health, you will take on a leadership role in providing expert therapy services to children. You'll work across clinic and mobile settings, providing tailored interventions and facilitating community-based preschool and gym programs. This role allows you to bring your experience to a team that thrives on collaboration and delivering high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead paediatric occupational therapy assessments and develop treatment plans.

Provide expert interventions to enhance children’s fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.

Facilitate community-based preschool programs, helping children reach their full potential.

Collaborate closely with speech pathologists, allied health assistants, and families to ensure holistic care.

Mentor junior staff and support ongoing professional development within the team.

Maintain comprehensive records, including assessments and progress notes.

Travel to client locations within the designated service area (mileage reimbursed).

Skills & Qualifications:

Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy with significant paediatric experience.

AHPRA registration.

Expertise in paediatric occupational therapy.

Strong leadership skills and experience mentoring junior staff.

Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Current driver’s license and reliable vehicle for mobile work.
