About Us
The Tile Supply, based in Bundall on the Gold Coast, is a leading tile and stone supplier with a well-established showroom and a reputation for curating quality, design-led products. We offer a vast selection of over 7,000 tiles, including natural stone, porcelain, mosaics, terrazzo, and encaustic tiles.
As we continue to grow, we’re expanding our focus beyond showroom sales and are now seeking a driven, results-focused Business Development Manager to drive trade, builder, and architectural relationships across the Gold Coast and surrounds.
The Role
As our BDM, you’ll be the face of The Tile Supply in the trade and architectural space. Your core focus will be building and nurturing relationships with builders, developers, designers, architects, and contractors. You’ll work closely with the showroom team, but your day-to-day will be more strategic and outward-facing.
Key Responsibilities:
-Identify and secure new business opportunities in the builder, trade, and design sectors
-Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients and industry professionals
-Develop and implement outreach strategies to drive long-term growth
-Attend site visits, client meetings, and industry events
-Work with the internal sales team to ensure seamless client handover and ongoing support
-Maintain CRM activity and generate weekly reports on pipeline and performance
About You
We’re looking for someone who is confident, proactive, and thrives in an autonomous role. You enjoy getting out from behind the desk and building genuine, lasting industry relationships.
You’ll ideally have:
-Proven experience in business development and/or external tile sales in the building or design industry
-Confidence engaging with architects, designers, builders, and developers
-Strong presentation and communication skills
-Experience with CRM platforms and sales pipelines
-A background in tiles, flooring, or architectural finishes is highly desirable
-A passion for design, interiors, or construction
