Our business is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to join our sales team. This role is all about building strong, strategic business-to-business relationships with external partners, marketing groups, sales agents, and referral networks who sell our homes to their clients.
The Role
Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will take full ownership of the channel partner experience from initial contact and onboarding, right through to contract and settlement. You will be out in the field representing the Avia brand, managing your own sales funnel, and becoming the key point of contact for your partners and their clients.
Unlike many other builders, you will not be expected to do everything on your own. At Avia, our BDMs are backed by genuine, practical support, including:
A full in-house marketing team including videographers and graphic designers to assist with personal branding and partner content
A dedicated land acquisitions team who ensure you always have stock ready to sell
Industry-leading systems, tools, and CRM support that make your job easier
What You Will Be Doing
Prospecting for new channel partners and referral networks
Onboarding and activating new marketing groups and sales partners
Managing the complete client journey from expression of interest to settlement
Maintaining clear, professional communication with all partners and stakeholders
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure contracts, marketing, and land packages are delivered accurately and on time
Representing the Avia brand with professionalism, integrity, and care
About You
You are a skilled relationship builder with a strong background in residential wholesale sales. You enjoy working with autonomy but thrive when given the right tools, support, and team environment.
You will be successful in this role if you:
Have at least two years of experience in residential wholesale building or channel sales
Have a proven ability to consistently achieve and exceed KPIs
Are confident managing referral partners and navigating the full sales process
Are comfortable working in a fast-paced and independent environment
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
