As a Senior Administration Officer at the Melbourne Academic Centre for Health (MACH), you'll play a crucial role in supporting groundbreaking health initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to work with diverse stakeholders, coordinate important events, and contribute to strategic communications. Your organisational skills and attention to detail will be instrumental in driving MACH's success and advancing medical research.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide Administrative Support: Offer high-level administrative assistance to the MACH Executive, including secretariat support for committees and networks.

  • Coordinate Events and Communications: Plan and manage events, support internal and external communications, and maintain website and social media presence.

  • Manage Financial Processes: Support office-related financial and procurement processes to ensure smooth operations.

  • Liaise with Stakeholders: Engage with internal and external partners on various MACH-related initiatives, contributing to proposals and presentations.

You may be a great fit if:

You are a highly organised and motivated professional with excellent communication skills, capable of providing high-level administrative support and working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet strategic objectives.

You will also:

  • Have a relevant tertiary degree with subsequent experience in administration or an equivalent combination.

  • Possess excellent writing skills and experience in drafting materials for diverse audiences.

  • Demonstrate strong event planning and management abilities.

  • Have well-developed interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience with content management systems and social media platforms.

  • Have work experience in a tertiary institution, health sector, or philanthropic organisation (desirable).
