We're currently searching for a skilled and hard working Administration Officer Parks & Gardens to join our organisation in a temporary full-time capacity up to and including 1 May 2026.

About the Opportunity
This role will handle administrative support for the Parks & Gardens team, including assisting the Coordinator, Team Leaders, and staff; liaising with clients per customer service standards; forwarding client requests to the appropriate departments; maintaining a tidy depot and storage area; and supporting capital works project planning and delivery.
What you will bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:
Relevant post secondary qualification or minimum 3 years secretarial and administrative experience.
Demonstrated experience in facilities/depot/site management.
Working knowledge of all computer applications associated with the position, i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Internet, Authority, Procurement processes, PowerPoint and Desktop Publishing.
Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
High level of written and verbal communication skills.
Current Driver’s Licence.
Salary and conditions
The position is classified within Band 4 of Council’s Current Enterprise Agreement commencing at $70,611.32 per annum plus statutory superannuation.
