A Queensland commercial construction company with newly appointed senior leadership team is now growing in capabilities and opportunities are therfore looking for a new Project Manager.

Our client prioritise complete D&C projcts over a variety of sectors including but not limited to Industrial, Edcuation, Retaila and Hospitality with projects up to $15m.

The Role

• Review and interpret technical drawings, reports, engineering documents, and specifications to ensure project specifications are met.
• Lead and manage commercial construction projects, overseeing all phases from planning to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to guarantee safety and quality.
• Supervise and coordinate a diverse project team, including engineers, subcontractors, and laborers, to maintain effective collaboration and communication.
• Provide regular and accurate financial updates and project progress reports to the management team
• Coordinate the necessary steps for obtaining clearances, permits, and client-specific authorizations required for project execution.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering updates on project status, managing deliverables, and resolving issues as they arise.

Experience/Qualifications Required

• Stable track record in a Project Management role with a commercial construction head contractor
• Minimum 5 years in a Project Manager role
• A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
• A trade or tertiary qualification in construction
