Better and fairer care. Always.
We are St Vincent's Health Australia, Australia's largest not-for-profit provider of health and aged care services.

Founded by The Sisters of Charity in 1857, our +30,000 healthcare superheroes operate public and private hospitals, residential aged care, community and virtual care, and outreach programs.

About the role

  • Provide meaningful Occupational Therapy services to residents at Charles Chambers Court and Annie Green Court, using evidence-based assessments and interventions tailored to individual needs in a supportive residential setting.
  • Determine the occupational needs through standardised and functional assessments, implement patient-centred treatment plans, and evaluate outcomes through data collection to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with staff, key stakeholders across CC, AGC and Occupational Therapy to enhance service quality, participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives, and contribute to the development of best practice approaches within your specialty area.
  • Actively participate in multi-disciplinary planning, quality projects, and research activities, providing Occupational Therapy input that supports integrated care and continuous learning.
  • Provide clinical supervision, education, and support to staff and students; ensure responsible use of Occupational Therapy resources; and contribute to the professional development and mission of St Vincent's Hospital.

About you

  • You're a qualified and AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with advanced clinical expertise in acute and/or sub-acute hospital settings with substantial exposure to aged care. Experience in other clinical areas across acute care or the aged care setting is a plus! These skills allow you to operate autonomously with minimal direct supervision.
  • Skilled in conducting evidence-based assessments, developing and implementing person-centred treatment plans, and evaluating outcomes to ensure high-quality, effective service delivery.
  • Recognised clinical leader providing expert advice in multidisciplinary teams, skilled in managing high-demand critical care environments, promoting consumer participation in decision-making, and leading service improvements to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • A recognised contributor in multidisciplinary teams, experienced in quality improvement initiatives, service development, and providing Occupational Therapy input into collaborative care planning and research activities.
  • Experienced in providing clinical supervision, education, and support to staff and students, with excellent communication and organisational skills, and a strong commitment to professional development and the values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent's Health Australia.
