About Us
Rambler is a new surf-meets-streetwear brand inspired by life on the road, salty air, and sun-faded afternoons. Launching in 2025, we’re creating expressive, easy-to-wear pieces for women, men and kids. We're a small team building a brand from the ground up, and this is your chance to get in early and help shape its voice, visuals and community.
About the Role:
We’re on the hunt for a creative and organised Social Media & E-Commerce Coordinator to join our small team across two brands – Rambler (a new fashion label launching in 2025) and Cartwright Co (our established lifestyle brand).
You’ll lead the charge on Rambler’s social media presence, influencer relationships, content creation and online store - helping bring the brand to life from day one. This is a role for someone who lives and breathes social media, knows what’s trending, and has an instinct for what makes content stick; a social media superstar!
You’ll also support the day-to-day e-commerce operations of both brands, helping keep the backend running smoothly - but your creative energy and attention will be firmly focused on building Rambler’s visual identity, online community, and customer experience.
This is a hybrid role split between both brands - you’ll take care of all things social media, content, and light marketing, while also running the e-commerce operations and customer experience day to day. We’re after someone with a genuine passion for fashion and lifestyle content, a finger on the pulse of what’s trending online, and a can-do attitude when it comes to wearing multiple hats. This is a hybrid creative/operational role with room to grow alongside both brands.
We’re ideally looking for someone who thrives in the creative space, especially content creation, storytelling, and socials, and is happy to learn the operational/e-commerce side of the role. If you’re a someone who’s across what’s trending and up for the challenge of helping build a brand from the ground up, this is for you.
Social Media & Marketing
Rambler:
Plan, shoot, edit, and schedule high-quality content for Instagram and TikTok
Write engaging, on-brand captions and post consistently
Monitor and respond to all social media DMs, tags, comments, and brand mentions
Keep across trends, creators, and platform updates to ensure we’re always culturally relevant.
Create in-house organic content (flat lays, behind-the-scenes, deliveries, garment racks, etc.)
Assist at campaign and e-commerce shoots when needed – steaming garments, prepping looks, helping on set
Bring fresh ideas for content, campaign angles, and brand moments
Collaborate on marketing activities including launch plans, email copy, influencer comms, etc.
Cartwright Co:
Plan, schedule and post brand content
Write engaging, on-brand captions and post consistently
Assist with marketing tasks across product launches, campaigns or emails
Monitor and respond to all social media DMs, tags, comments, and brand mentions in a timely and brand-appropriate way
E-Commerce Coordination
For both brands:
Upload products to Shopify and write clear, on brand product descriptions
Maintain website accuracy across inventory, tagging, categories and copy
Liaise with our web developer to ensure timely updates
Pick, pack and ship web orders daily
Handle all customer service via email and social DMs
Ensure smooth post-purchase experience and timely issue resolution
Support day-to-day e-com operations for Cartwright Co (orders, returns, service)
Note: While this is a hybrid role, we’re ideally looking for someone with strong creative instincts first. We’ll teach you the e-commerce processes – all we ask is that you’re organised, detail-focused, and open to learning the backend.
About You:
Interested in fashion, style and across what’s trending in fashion and online
You’re an idea-generator and know your way around TikTok, Instagram and content calendars
Understand social media platforms natively and have a creative eye
Proactive, organised, and thrive in a fast-paced small team
Happy to be hands-on – whether it's packing orders or creating content
Strong written communication skills and know how to write for brand voice
You might have a background in social media, digital marketing, or content creation or just a strong interest in brand storytelling
Organised, efficient and can juggle both creative and admin tasks with ease
You’re proficient with Shopify, Canva, TikTok, Instagram and basic editing tools (or open to learning quickly)
Why Join Us
Small team, evolving structure:
Right now, we’re a tiny team, so this role includes a mix of creative and operational tasks. But we know that as Rambler and Cartwright Co grow, these responsibilities will likely shift and be split into more focused roles. We’re committed to revisiting this structure as the workload increases and the business evolves.
Room to grow with us:
This is a unique opportunity to get in early and help shape the voice, visuals, and customer experience of a brand from the ground up. If you’re someone who wants to contribute ideas, wear multiple hats, and evolve your role over time – you’ll thrive here.
The Details:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
On-site at our warehouse in Torquay
Salary: Based on experience
Start date: As soon as possible
