What you'll expected to be doing
You’ll take the lead on expanding the business’s footprint across NSW’s civil infrastructure sector, particularly in government works. This role is all about relationships, strategy, and influence. You’ll be expected to:
Identify and win new project opportunities, especially in state government infrastructure and pipeline upgrades
Research market and identify new opportunities for tendering
Play a pivotal role in representing the brand at networking and roundtable events
Strengthen existing client relationships and forge new ones with key decision-makers
Act as the face of the business at meetings, events, and in the community
Drive growth by aligning opportunity with capability across internal delivery teams
Represent the business with pride and passion
Who you are
You’re not just a Business Development Manager, you’re a door-opener, a relationship-builder, and someone who knows how to navigate government or civil environments through the right channels and approaches. Ideally, you bring:
A strong track record in civil construction or government project engagement
An existing network in the NSW infrastructure sector
A strategic, proactive mindset with a real hunger for growth
Confidence to represent the business at senior levels and the follow-through to convert opportunities into results
