Executive Assistant to CFO – 18 Month Contract

Location: North Sydney
Contract: 18 months, 32 hours/week (4 days)
Hybrid work: 3-4 days in the Sydney CBD office (Tues-Thurs in office, flexible across 5 days)
Rate: Up to $58/hour + Super
Start: ASAP from 23 June 2025

Are you a proactive, highly organised Executive Assistant passionate for supporting senior leaders? We’re seeking an experienced EA to provide high-level support to the CFO of a leading, global technology company. This is an opportunity to join a diverse, high-performing team in a welcoming and collaborative environment.

About the Role:
You’ll be the right hand to the CFO, managing a busy calendar, coordinating complex travel (domestic and international), and supporting a distributed team of 18. Your days will be varied—think event and meeting coordination, document management, onboarding new hires, and handling confidential information with the utmost integrity. You’ll also support three other managers with travel, expenses, and scheduling.

Key Responsibilities:

· Calendar and diary management, including scheduling meetings and defending the diary

· Organising business events, meetings, and team get-togethers (including logistics, catering, and agendas)

· Managing travel bookings (domestic and international), including visa applications

· Overseeing expense submissions, purchase orders, and benefits claims

· Document management, including contracts and authorised signatures

· Triaging requests, prioritising tasks, and following up with managers

· Supporting onboarding for new team members

· Liaising with facilities, IT, and security to ensure smooth operations

· Maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all tasks

Requirements:

· 5-7 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a CFO or finance leader

· Advanced skills with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint) and Adobe Sign

· Exceptional organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills

· Proven ability to work independently, prioritise, and manage multiple tasks

· Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

· Tech savvy and quick to pick up new systems and tools

· Strong attention to detail, initiative, and a proactive approach

· Experience handling sensitive and confidential information
